In The Complete Adventure! one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures comics that came with a tape, the Rock Soldier identical to Traag that replaced Granitor in the comics was called Moog.Granitor spoke in a manner similar to Peter Lorre.

Although the storyline, and most of the dialogue, for the original mini series were exactly the same in both the 1987 TV series and the Archie Comics, Granitor was absent in the comics fiction and was instead replaced by a generic Stone Warrior who seemed to be very much Traag's double.

After that, he no longer appeared in the series. Their fight with the Turtles eventually resulted in Michelangelo and Donatello sending both Granitor and General Tragg back through the portal and to their own dimension.

Granitor was created by Krang, just like the other Stone Warriors, from the rocks of Dimension X when the mutagen touched them, and was indoctrinated to be a warrior for Krang who he owed absolute loyalty and lived only for war. He appeared in the 1987 TV series episode Hot Rodding Teenagers from Dimension X. The Turtles blasted missiles from their vehicle at the duo, scattering them to pieces and banishing them back to Dimension X.Granitor is a high-ranking grey Stone Warrior. It seemed that the rock monsters would win, however Bebop and Rocksteady had a change of heart and helped the Turtles, their counterparts, and the Mutanimals take on the rock monsters. He appears guarding the Trans-Dimensional Portal, Leonardo blasts off his arms and legs to distract him as Donatello disables the shields. NECA has revealed their next Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cartoon Series 2-Pack. In the end, Leatherhead was forced to drag the giant alien back to Dimension X to save his friends. It took the combined force of Leatherhead and Donatello's homemade explosives to bring him down, but Traag simply put his broken body back together.
